UK-wide home eye tests by arrangement

In addition to our core service areas across the Midlands, First Care Optical can provide home eye tests in other parts of the UK by arrangement. This service is typically offered for care homes, organisations and referrals where local provision is required.

UK-wide home eye tests are arranged on a case-by-case basis depending on location, patient needs and clinical availability. This approach ensures patients receive appropriate, high-quality care without overpromising coverage.

UK-wide coverage is most commonly arranged for care homes with multiple locations, organisations supporting vulnerable individuals, or referrals where domiciliary eye care is required outside our core Midlands service areas. Both NHS-funded and private visits may be available depending on eligibility and local NHS commissioning.

If glasses are prescribed following a UK-wide home eye test, we can arrange supply and delivery directly to the patient or care setting where appropriate. To discuss requirements or referrals, contact our team to explore the available options.
