Our reviewers bring direct experience of domiciliary visits, care home rounds, and supporting patients living with dementia, low vision and complex needs.

You can read each reviewer's full profile — including qualifications, registrations and clinical interests — by selecting their card below.

Clinical pages on this site show a “clinically reviewed by” line with the reviewer's name and the date content was last checked. Hub pages and blog articles that include medical guidance follow the same process before publication.

If you are a clinician interested in contributing to our patient information, contact the practice — we are always careful to keep wording accurate, accessible and aligned with GOC standards for domiciliary care.

Reviewer profiles list GOC numbers, qualifications and specialisms so you can see who signed off the guidance you are reading and when it was last refreshed.

We publish reviewer names rather than anonymous “clinical team” labels because domiciliary eye care is personal — patients deserve to know who examines them and who checked the advice online.

Review dates appear next to each clinically reviewed page. When guidance changes — for example NHS domiciliary rules or voucher processes — we update the copy and refresh the review stamp once the optometrist has checked it.
