People living with diabetes should attend NHS diabetic eye screening in addition to a regular sight test. Home eye tests support both pathways.

- Difficulty seeing at night
When to seek help
Sudden vision change, new floaters, or vision loss should be assessed urgently — call NHS 111 or attend A&E.
