Presbyopia

Presbyopia is a common age-related visual complication. Often termed as ‘ageing eye condition’, presbyopia occurs mostly after the age of 40 and results in difficulty seeing objects at a near distance. The condition has a significant effect on the quality of vision and quality of life as it affects daily routine tasks such as reading and work requiring close focus. Timely diagnosis and optical corrections are necessary to meet the near-vision demands of the patient.
