Book Home Visit by either calling our office or follow the link below to book online.
Step 2
Our service team will call you to discuss the best time for us to visit. Then the optometrist will come to perform the eye test at home. The eye test normally takes about 50 minutes depending on what is required.
Step 3
Our optical team will always bring a range of prescription glasses with us. So if you need a new pair of spectacle, our team will be ready to help you.
Step 4
If you purchase glasses at the time of the eye test, then we try have your new glasses delivered within 3 weeks of ordering them. Usually they are delivered sooner.
What happens during a home eye care assessment?
On the day of our visit, the optical team will give you a call at least 1 hour before the appointment to confirm and provide an accurate time for when we will be visiting.
At the beginning of the eye test, the optometrist will ask some questions related to the your health and the eyes. If person being examined struggles with communication, then it is good to have a carer or relative present to help answer the questions.
The optometrist will use specialist mobile equipment to assess your vision and the health of the eyes. Checking the health of the eyes involves using the latest portable equipment to check vision, the pressures of the eyes and the back of the eyes.
After completing the home eye test, if glasses are required then our optical team will present you with a selection of spectacles. The glasses will then be delivered and fitted within 3 weeks. Our spectacles come with a satisfaction guarantee. So if you have any problems, then we will arrange for optical team to come and resolve them for you.
